1:48 product is smaller than I expected, No criticism as the sizes are displayed. I read the instructions but tried the brick compound anyway. Bad result so I then played with different mixtures of stone dust and PVA, Stone dust and Paint finally setting on a product which worked reasonably well. I found I had better results with less bleeding if I re-glued the stencil each time

I used this with the brick compound and it works really well. You can wash it and re-use it again and again.

You need the large stencil it really does make it easier, it took me a few tries but gets easier each time, it’s definitely worth persevering the effect is brilliant
